AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic V-Twin Motorcycle Oil is engineered to protect critical components in high-heat conditions. It exceeds the standard for high-temperature film strength with an HTHS viscosity of 4.2 cP — exceeding the minimum allowable standard of 3.5 cP.
It contains a heavy treatment of anti-wear additives and maximum levels of oxidation inhibitors. It is extremely resistant to breakdown and engineered to prevent damaging sludge and carbon deposits. It is shear stable and performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme-pressure additives, providing anti-wear protection for gears and chains.

I have been using Amsoil since 1995 when I bought my first Harley. On my third Harley and still using Amsoil. Have since just like a favorite hot sauce I use that s?!t in everything. We have a 2013 escape with 169,000 miles, f-150 with 101,000 miles and a Kubota tractor with 1300 hrs.
