Protects against wear and heat in severe applications: Shear-stable and maintains its viscosity despite rigorous mechanical action. It provides a thick lubricating film and contains extreme-pressure additives to protect against wear in severe-service and shock-loading conditions common when towing or hauling. It resists thermal degradation and oxidation — excellent for high-temperature applications such as the New Venture NV-4500 transmission.
Quick shifts in hot rods and muscle cars: A friction-modified formula and excellent cold-flow properties promote smooth, fast engagement of synchronizers and gears, and seal conditioners help reduce leaks.

I thought the transaxle was going out on me. I inspected the clutch and it was fine. I switched to a better quality fluid, this stuff, and that did it. I think I was loosing horsepower or gears weren't engaging properly before. What a difference the proper fluid makes! Shifts are crisp, engagement is solid. I was missing out this entire time.
