Severe-Duty Performance
SEVERE GEAR helps prevent thermal runaway — a phenomenon caused by a lubricant's inability to control friction and increased heat under high-stress conditions. Its wax-free construction improves cold-flow properties, improving fuel economy and cold-weather shifting.
Service life: 100,000 miles normal service or 50,000 miles severe service in cars, SUVs and light trucks. Up to 250,000 miles in heavy-duty Class 8 line haul.

Great oil products at very good price
Great product!
I used this for my Tacoma, and honestly, I bought this because I heard good things about this brand. It was pretty feasible to empty it out. I don’t exactly feel a difference, but I will write a review later when I have to change my differential oil again. I did come across a problem with one of the packs. I believe it was just a defect, but one of them kept on leaking when I tried to empty out the oil. I changed the cap with one of the other packets but it kept leaking. I ended up wasting a lot of oil of that packet. I haven’t changed but front differential oil due to a stripped bolt, but hopefully I’ll have enough once I change it.
Upgrade from Anything
I am about to embark on a cross country journey with my wife to camp, hike and 4Wheel the U.S. and I knew there was only one brand I wanted to trust from past experience so I came to Amsoil and luckily I found this which has a better viscosity and I know I will be good--- with a few more changes during my few hundred k travels.
