Formulated for Long Engine Life

AMSOIL Commercial-Grade Diesel Oil is an advanced synthetic-blend oil with greater than 50% synthetic content. Specially engineered for commercial equipment, it provides 2X better wear protection, helping you keep trucks and equipment operating at peak performance. It provides outstanding value and excellent protection for customers seeking an upgrade over conventional diesel oils.

Key Benefits

  • Advanced synthetic-blend oil with greater than 50% synthetic content
  • 2X better wear protection in third-party Detroit Diesel DD13 Scuffing testing (DFS 93K222, 10W-30 worst-case)
  • Minimizes viscosity change and keeps soot particles suspended independently
  • Improved heat and oxidation resistance compared to conventional diesel oils
  • Dependable cold-temperature flow for reliable startup
  • Low volatility — fewer combustion-chamber deposits and longer aftermarket-system life
  • Broad OEM coverage — Volvo, Mack, Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel and more
  • Does not void new vehicle or equipment manufacturer warranties; covered by the AMSOIL Limited Warranty

Wear, Viscosity Control, Temperature and Oil Consumption

Heavy-duty engine protection: Third-party testing shows AMSOIL Commercial-Grade Diesel Oil delivers 2X more wear protection (Detroit Diesel DD13 Scuffing Test for specification DFS 93K222, using 10W-30 as worst-case representation) to help maximize equipment life and reduce maintenance costs and downtime.

Viscosity control: Greater than 50% synthetic content and high-performance detergent/dispersant additives minimize viscosity change while keeping soot particles suspended independently, helping prevent the formation of larger, wear-causing particles.

Excels in extreme temperatures: Improved heat and oxidation resistance compared to conventional diesel oils, plus dependable cold-temperature flow for reliable startup.

Minimizes oil consumption: A low rate of volatility (burn-off) reduces oil consumption and passes less oil vapor into the combustion chamber, contributing to fewer combustion-chamber deposits and longer aftermarket-system life.
